Join me in my studio Thursday July 23, 6-9pm to learn relief printmaking with wood.
Learn how to carve into wood using the woodcut tools I use in my work. You’ll also learn how to print by hand so you can repeat the process anywhere w/o a press. We’ll use small blocks and ink that can be used on paper or textiles. You can choose what you’d like to print on or try them all. Bring your own clothing or fabric if you’d like to print something a little larger. Fabric remnants and a variety of papers will be provided.
Every month on a Thursday evening I will host a class with varied art processes in rotation. Most will center on printmaking
Note : I’m immunocompromised and will ask folks to mask if there are more than 2 people that join this studio. Please bring a mask, I will have extras if you forget. If this makes you uncomfortable then I ask that you choose a different instructor. Thank you!
